    SE Question- How many domains per IP?

    Hey guys.
    quick question here.
    I've got a mini latina network of sites going. Doing ok in the SE's. I want to expand from about 5-10 domains to about 20-30 or so.

    My question - how many domains can I have per IP before I have to worry about getting slammed by the search engines etc.

    Still new to this thing, so any direction wouldbe greatly appriciated.

      I use a different IP for each domain. Various IP blocks. It's the safest way to go, but I guess you can have 2-3 domains per IP with no problem.

          Not pointing any fingers, but if it's a legal network, then up to 25 is fine. If it's a spam network, then 5-10.

              I have a single IP server with over 50 domains and have never had any SE problems. In fact most of the traffic on there comes from Google.

                      I don't think I've got the know how to setup a spam network :D
                      I've jsut got the chance now to easily move domains onto new IPs and thought I'd do it now while I had the chance.

                          I have top keyword positions with domains hosted on virtual accounts on the same IP with hundreds of other folks domains without single problem. In fact, it helps a bit - causes competition more work with investigation

                              afaik google doesnt care about IPs ... I log everything google does to one of my sites, hasnt done anything using ip at all, just hostname ...

                                  I've also been told it's not a biggie anymore. I have hosting at 3 different places cause I was paranoid about it. I was thinking of getting a new ip for every single domain a few months ago, but after asking around the conclusion I came to is that it's not worth it. Ip's are limited so it's unrealistic to think everyone will be able to use a lot of different ones, esp. in the future.
