Neo died, his counterbalance between him and smith was destroyed when he allowed smith to overtake him.

Also, in his death, his body was all power, or what the machines needed for feul. Thats why when he was being dragged, u could see his power.

No no no... when Neo died, is was a simple of Jesus... that's why when he did they had him with his arms outstretched, as if on a cross. Neo died to save everyone else, (just like everyone's favorite savior). But then, at the end, when the Oricle is talking to that little girl, the little girl asks if they will ever see Neo again, and the Oricle says something to the tone of, "I think we will."
