    48 convictions for Worst Serial Murder in U.S. History ... We're #1

Once again the creepy Pacific Northwest can lay claim to having the worst serial murderer in U.S. History.

In the 1970's we gave you Ted Bundy. He admitted to 30 murders, but was convicted of only 3 killings.

In the 1980's we had a frightening rash of serial killings in the Seattle area known as the "Green River Killings" because the first bodies were found in remote areas near the river.

Today, Gary Ridgeway pleaded quilty to 48 murders in the case. He has admitted killing more than 60 women, but they could prove only 48.

I guess there is a reason that David Lynch set "Twin Peaks" here .. we have more than our share of psycho killers.

Killer linked to 61 more deaths

A US man who admitted today to murdering 48 women - mostly teenage prostitutes and runaways - was a suspect in 61 similar killings in Canada over the past 20 years, Canadian police said.
I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,
I can tell them that I work with the mentally retarded.

It's possible but they may be just trying to clear all their unsolved murder cases.

Should be easy to prove if he was over the border or not at the time of every killing.

I'm not buying it. The guy looked like he was just agreeing for the sake of getting his plea bargain so he'd be spared the electric chair. And the prosecutors get to close files on a ton of unsolved murders that tie up their resources year after year when they know in their hearts the trails on most are cold as ice.

          Justice system sucks.

            It must be the rain.

Bundy tried to blame it on pornography though.

The US/Canada border doesn't keep track of the identities of the people who travel across it.

If an America crosses the border into Canada or if a Canadian crosses into the US, there is no record.
