17 is the age of consent in NY
Thnx, well I'm not 30 yet :-) But I wanted to be sure, because I don't wanna book a hotel for me and my GF, and then in the night some cops coming in to arrest me or something like that
Ignore the age of consent until you... look up what the law says on Statutory Rape and use THAT as your quide.

Any person over the age of 21 years who engages in an act of
unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is under 16 years of age
is guilty of either a misdemeanor or a felony, and shall be punished
by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by
imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years.
So I'm able to be with a 16 yr old! Why the fuck would I tho! I'd rather have a 20 yr old!

If you're trying to comply with US law, aside from age issues, specific sexual acts and positions are forbidden for all ages in various states. In Georgia, giving or receiving oral sex from anyone, regardless of age or gender or if they're your spouse, is a serious crime, with a mandatory one year prison term, maximum 20 years, with five years pretty typical. Plus you have to register as a sex offender, informing police, neighbors, and schools, anywhere you move in the United States, for the rest of your life. That's the harshest state, but oral sex is still illegal in about a third of states, regardless of circumstances.
In Washington DC you can only have vaginal intercourse only in face-to-face positions, no doggy style or plowing the fields or anything fancy. Three-ways are illegal in a lot of places too.

HAHA no, and I'm not planning to get a young hooker or something, but my Dutch GF is 17 y/o, I'm above 18, and I wanted to be sure that I wouldn't get problems when I order a hotel there.
That is all I'm not planning rapes, sex parties with hookers etc...Boring huh

When the supreme court struck down the texas sadomy laws, all of these silly laws are no longer enforcable and were essentially struck down too. As long as it's consentual adult sex you may suck and fuck at will.
Whoa! If you are bringing a minor into the US, you should have something FORMALLY made up by her parents stating that YOU have legal guardianship etc etc. I'm not sure what all should be on something like that. YOUR countries laws (concerning age of majority)wouldn't be recognized in the US in this case.
But most police depts (if not all) would hold you BOTH until they determined from her parents and your local authorities that you have her here legally.
At the very least contact the US Consulate in your country and get some sort of signed affidavit from them covering this.
