Just to clarify, this isnt OUR paypal that has been put on hold it is someone who we paid for services.

Happened to me . paypal sucks when it come to verificating your identity they close your account until you fax them documents then you must call them 50 time to get your account back and sometimes they just give you your $ back for no fucking reason

Do a customer complaint to charge back

Paypal doesn't like people who chargeback. Don't believe me? Do it and find out for yourself.

haha ya right.. it's not that easy, only way to get something charged back thru paypal is if you have a lawyer send them a certified mail saying you will sue them if they don't charge back

i dissagree if a payment is sent as a service you wont get it back.. if it is a product you will

if the money was sent from your creditcard through paypal you will ALWAYS get it back. paypal will not even bother argueing with visa

Well thats one of the things we are thinking about but, from our point of view they did nothing wrong in the service that we were provided.

Obviously though we dont want to have our acct closed, im presuming if accts do make a chargeback they (paypal) will start watching our account and who we send out funds to which whilst it wont have any significant cause of alarm for us, if someone we do business with is less than legit it may look bad on us even if we didnt know about it.

Catch 22 situation here for us.

Either let things with paypal all get resolved amicably by paypal or chargeback and see what happens, of course there is always the issue of having them take it to the boards too which could potentially do more harm than good to our reputation.

Eh, if you were sending it, it was such a small amount I'd just write it off as a loss.
