this is the sad part of being an affiliate, you can't burn too manny bridges even if you're not in the wrong. I personally would rather sponsers pay a reasonable amount and give 100% of your sign ups .. than shave... but the sad fact is Shaving is so common it's acceptable by most.

btw DeadFidel nice way to catch threm, have you e-mailed them asking what the problem is?

I have a MAJOR problem with someone who makes this kind of claim and will not back it up. The "burning bridges" justification is nonsense: why in heaven's name would you want a relationship with anyone who has screwed you this way? Nor is there any risk of libel providing you post only truthful information, free of opinion or interpretation.

I don't doubt that an experiment like yours is possible and I don't even find the results especially surprising. But so far this particular thread has my bullshit meter reading high...

Think about it this way, it's their Data transfer cost not mine. Although I MAY have cought them, I am not about to throw away all the posible rebills just because of you dude.

so its a partnership program shaving that much? damn. you would hope they wouldn't shave at all. PPS i can see but shaving on a partnership proggy is downright sad. most ppl can't do the kind of test you did, we don't have our own paysites or the means to make tours with fake join pages...

All PPS shave.

Some partnerships shave, but most of them don't.

You guys are off base with your arguments that all PPS shave. I cannot comment on partner programs, since in 7+ years I have never sent a partner program one hit.

Sure some PPS programs shave. That is why you need to KNOW who you are sending your traffic to. There is a level of trust. If you need trusted sponsors, look at my exits.

I think I found out who it is.

I guess I understand where DF is coming from on wanting to protect his rebills.

But DF should really switch sponsors if if the shave is that bad. Fuck supporting a company that shaves that bad.

But for DF & these types of sites... he doesn't really have many legal alternate options. If the sites came out, GFY would have a field day & lose focus on the shaving issue anyway.

I guess this sponsor knows that as well (DF's lack of similar options).

They are taking a bigger risk with their business model than most do -- which I guess is why they feel they can shave him like a sheep in summer.
