Did you just not understand it? Many people I saw the 2nd one in the theaters with didn't like it simply because it was over their heads, watch it 2, 3, or 4 times and you'll keep learning more and more.
The first one was good but I think the reason more people liked that one is becasue it had a sense of closure at the end unlike the second. People don't like to leave a movie with a "to be concluded" message at the end because #1 they are impatient and #2 they didn't understand the movie.ICQ 40402622

I didn't care for the second one. The special effect sequences were technically impressive, but not exciting. Expressionless faces while doing repetitive kick after kick and punch after punch made it seem like there was no sense of urgency. Compare the fight scenes in Reloaded to something like Enter the Dragon and you'll see what I mean.
Didn't care for the monotone speech / borderling whispering they tried to pass off as dialogue either.Comment

I saw it and I thought it totally KICKED ASS! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and I was shaking like a leaf! It made the second movie make so much more sense. I can't wait until this one is out on DVD so I can watch all three in a row.

We saw it a few hours ago. It was a very good film, but it wasn't the incredible finalie I had hoped for.
There were a few fleeting claps at the end of the movie, but nothing like the applause at the end of the second one.
On the turbometer, I give it a 9.2.

There was non-stop action in Zion. All those Sentinels?? There were thousands upon thousands and they were breaking in and shaking the walls of Zion! Pretty exciting stuff.
And Niobe piloting her way through those mechanical tunnels? That was pretty action packed with all those Sentinels attacking them and wondering if they would get the door open in time. I knew they would, but it was exciting anyway.
I don't understand how anyone who has seen the first two wouldn't like this movie.
I mean, the romance really was a part of the movie that needed to be told. I mean, Trinity falling for Neo was the way that she and Neo first began to believe that he was the One. And it was Trinity's love that gave Neo the strength to keep fighting even when he wasn't sure he could go on.
Geez, the idea of love is just lost on some people. LOL
