American Muslims Told to Leave Major U.S. Cities

An Al Qaeda (search) Web site is running a warning issued to Muslims to leave Washington D.C., New York City and Los Angeles because of implied imminent terrorist attacks, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute.

Titled "A Warning to Muslims in America," the directive was issued by the previously unknown "Islamic Bayan Movement" and first ran on the Global Islamic Media Web site on Monday, according to MEMRI, which translated the communiqué.

It has since been published on the Al Qaeda-run site Al Faroq (search), a MEMRI release said. The Global Islamic Media site has published several messages from Jihad groups around the world in recent months.

where do people come up with this shit... DO you know why governments train Agents for 4 years to become intellegence officers? Or why they only choose the sharpest and brightest willing to risk sacrificing their lives rather than give up info? Because the average person cant handle it... thats why... You have no idea how often CIA and NSA guys have to hear threats ... they probably run across 100 a day ... if that site were really announcing terrorist attacks... which could lead to panic and stock drops... do you honestly beleive that the US would allow that site to stay up?

Ohh and next Im sure you will say that the site is run off american soil they cant touch it? fuck ... They give the guy running the server 1 million dollars to remove that guy and its gone... we control the little chaos we have... dont take that website seriously its BS

Of course the terrorists are going to threaten - shit I could set my watch by it - they hate loosing free advertising - its like bumping a thread here at GFY - they just love seeing their names up in lights.

I was not even thinking that the americans couldnt touch the site - if they shut the site down - it will pop up elsewhere - I wonder just how good the FBI / CIA is at understanding the web and its technology.

Reminds me of the ignorant hicks who went around killing and beating turban-wearing Americans after 9/11. Most turned out to be sikhs, some were christians or hindu, and probably the smallest proportion were muslims.

Well if its true - why would they warn them?? I mean dont they already see muslims living in america as sell-outs??
