Bought my Yard X-Mas stuff today.

I'm soo happy, walking through walmart (it's the only place i can find sports socks to fit my skis) i see they have giant 8 foot tall inflatbale yard x-mas stuff. they have a santa, a polar bear, a snow man, and then I saw it.

the grinch. a great big green 8 foot tall inflatable grinch with a light in him.

I dropped everything and pushed out of the way the little sweet old grandma that was making a play for it. I dived and got it - whipping out a display for x-mas blinking lights in the process and giggling the whole time.

I've decided that I'm gona try (assuming it's not too cold outside) to put up the 8 foot tall inflatable lightup Grinch in my yard for x-mas and NOTHING ELSE.
This dog, is dog, a dog, good dog, way dog, to dog, keep dog, an dog, idiot dog, busy dog, for dog, 20 dog, seconds dog!

Now read without the word dog.

maybe if you made a penny or two you'd be able to shop there.

I saw the grinch but I have to say there is something about a 12 foot snowman with a candy cane in your front yard.. I just have to find a large santa bending over.

                          guess I'm a fruitcake

I fuckin' love wal-mart...it's like a night out with the kids when we go...caps off the evening after either dinner out or a movie.

We end up spending about 2 hours there and get most of the grocery shopping done for the month not to mention any other household goods we need.

Hell I can pay $6 for a bottle of benadryl, or pay $3 and change for Wal-Mart's version which is the exact same formula...and that goes for just about everything else they make

Hell yeah it's cheap which is exactly why I shop there...I've said it before Hanes underwear is the exact same underwear there that is being sold in Target...JC Penney's all the way up the department store food chain and I might as well pay the lowest price I can.

The Grinch??? I didn't even know there was a Grinch! I have the Santa, the snowman, and the toy soldier!! I love them. One of my neighbors bought the snowman first, and then all the other neighbors decided that we *must* have one just like it. It was like crack here, last Christmas. The stores would get a few in at a time, and people would be fighting to grab them off the shelves, lmao. I drove to another city to get my Santa.

I don't care how much MetaMan makes fun of me- starting tomorrow I'm going to Wal-Mart every day to look for a Grinch. I want to be the very first to have one here. If I find the son of a bitch, I may go ahead and put him out right now.

the thing I love about the grinch is that I'm KNOWN for a HUGE display in my town - I invest $1000's in it.

this year I'm JUST gona put the grinch in my yard - and nothing else - till about 2 week before x-mas

I love it! At least I know what he looks like, even if I can't order him. And they're cheaper this year, too! I paid $49.99 for each of mine last year.

The Wal-Mart here rocks. It's jammed packed, 24/7. Everyone laughs about it. You can never find a parking space or a buggy, even if you go in the middle of the night. What's even stranger is that we have several other discount stores that are newer, nicer, and bigger- Target, K-marts, Dollar Generals, Big Lots, etc., but it's like Sam Walton has some voodoo spell on everyone. It's at least 15 years old, and it's not one of the big ones with groceries and all that jazz. It's kind of small and plain looking.

But you never walk in there without seeing 10 different people you know- and it's not moms in vans. I saw my gynecologist, my fourth grade teacher, and a girl I got into a fight with in the lunchroom in the 6th grade, the last time I went.

I have a company from Portland that comes every year and puts up my outdoor lights around Thanksgiving and then takes them down in Jan.
