They basically wrap around their prey and suffocate them.They are pretty fast especially if you cant see them hiding in the brush.

last time I checked the Congo is in Africa.

I think they always wrap themselves around and crush/suffocate anything they're going to swallow first.... that guy probably had several broken bones/ribs and was dead long before he got swallowed.

Yep, that's real. Those particular snakes can literally detach their jaws so they can swallow animals and I guess in this case a man entirely whole.

What I'm wondering though is once they swallow a 200 lb man, how the heck are they able to slither around still? Or do they just stay in that one spot digesting it.

true reminds me of a certain species of toad that will try to cram its prey in its mouth even if it doesnt fit, it eventually dies of sufaction, starvation or being attacked by other prey, but it will just sit there trying to swallow an impossible sized prey.

The only way that's a real man in there is if he was swallowed in the fetal position, which I doubt could have happened. A leg or an arm would have come spread out, and we'd see the impression.

The Congo is in Africa

Anacondas are from South America

The snake pictured is a Burmese Rock Python

As for whather or not it swallowed a man... It is entirely plausible.

I heard on the news once a pet python gone awol was found under a house in Florida .. it evidently snacked on dogs every few weeks or something.
And I thought I had it bad with rattlesnakes ... but then again I do have some d*mn nice snakeskin boots ;)

I don't know if that one in the pics is fake or real, South America or the Congo, Anaconda or Python but I still say
