So I'am driving home today and I see these police cruisers outside the house, I went in and sure enough they were in our place.. I ask what happened and the girls say someone broke in at 4:30 in the afternoon, yes I know, afternoon, while they were in the house. Granted they never saw anyone, this is all just an assumption.
The cause for all this? our kitchen door was open, It blows open from the wind sometimes if people dont shut it properly, whenever someone is using the barbecue etc.
So the one girl comes downstairs, freaks out that the kitchen door was open, and automatically assumed we got broken into at 4:30 in the afternoon.
She calls her mom who is a local judge, the mom gets on the phone and it only took like 3 minutes for the police to arrive (surprise surprise)
Right now I am sitting here with the locksmith, Yep, They got a locksmith too, He's rekeying 4 double deadbolt locks and cutting keys for all of them on "emergency hours" the bill for this one is going to be amazing..
Tommorow I wont be surprised if we have a security guard on the front steps.. You have to understand, we dont live in the ghetto, this is one of the nicest student houses ever, it's like a family home, it can eat most student houses!
