    spyware adware any ideas

    I got something on my machine that keeps screwing shit up. I downloaded the spyware apps but I am still getting different types shit happening. Anyone know where I can find a list of all the spyware/adware and where this shit gets installed.

                      Good luck is right. Spyware is very tricky and some are self installing .exe files programmed to execute as you delete the app so it constantly recreates itself. I have dealt with them in the past and always called in my Network Sys Admin to go in and manually kill the app. Sorry but that is the truth!

                              spybot search and destroy, and adaware combined get most of it.
                              a good software firewall might help trap apps trying to "phone home"

                                                  I had adware and spyware both on my computer and was unable to get rid of it. I updated my norton antivirus and restarted my computer in safe mode because some of these files deny access otherwise. Then ran the antivirus and it got rid of all my adware and spyware files. Now my computer is back to normal.

                                                  The spyware virus I has was called keylogger and I cant remember what the adware was called.
