    This is fucked up

    Had canceled my hosting account last year sometime around november. Did it verbally on the phone because constant billing errors. Canceled it thru there account interface also.

    No more rebills were made so I'd assume everything was good. Now 10 months later I get a Letter from a Collections Agency saying i owe over 6 months hosting i never used.

    Told me to prove that i canceled. Well i checked to see my Login to the account admin still worked. It still did even after all this time. Clicked on History tickets list. Guess what? All previous tickets were deleted from the history

                          I got bad week with these collections agency

                          Somehow i got a shitload of unwanted magazines subscriptions. About 7 months ago. Then the fuckers wanted to bill me for something i never asked for.

                          Why the hell do i need magazine for Mac users when i never owned a Mac, i guess they try to squeeze your balls around the holidays

                                                          Within 30 days of receiving a collection letter, whether its valid or not, send a registered letter back asking for proof of the debt. I had a hosting company do the same thing. If you send that, they must show you proof within 30 days or they can no longer collect from you.
