I can't eat it anymore after I read a story about what ingredients make it so flavorful.

I won't go into detail cause I know you're sitting there with some now probably.

    Enjoy!

I was playing golf in PA and the girl driving the beer cart was also selling jerky.

It was made with venison. Spicy as hell, better than beef jerky. Never seen it since, I guess its not really a thing they do in stores.

Most store bought jerky sucks. Especially the mass-produced crap. Sometimes little stores along the interstate will have something good from a local hillbilly. I am a true beef jerky connoisseur though. I love the stuff. Hit google and you are sure to find some good jerky. If you want to try something unusual, hit

I make my own too. Not only for flavor, but for price. That shit is expensive!

I marinate it for 24 hours in the fridge and then dry it in the oven. So good!

My uncle makes venison jerky every year..good stuff. So are the venison burgers and sausages. We kill a lot of deer back home in PA...my tastebuds and my politics conflict sometimes.

I make about 15 pounds of beef jerky a week for the people at my real job. I have been doing this for the past seven years.

I am looking to go retail in a few more years.

Once you have had jerky made by hand, you will never be able to eat the commercial stuff.

ICQ me and I will send you some.

I like beef jerky if it isn't sweet (no sugar added) and if there isn't a ton of pepper in it.

I love making homemade jerky. It's sooo good. Perfect for atkins dieters.

I also like Tyson's chicken chunks, they ROCK.

Oh, and another meaty good snack is baked chicken skin. No joke. Take the skin off a bunch of chickens (sometimes the butcher at your local grocery store will let you have some REALLY cheap) and spread them out as flat as possible on a rack in a baking pan (MUST be on a rack or it won't get crisp). Sprinkle with seasoning salt and bake at about 325 degrees until crisp. Mmm. Perfect Atkins snack. No carbs and crunchy like chips but WAY better than pork skins.

Also EMU and Venison Jerky are good! I especially like EMU jerky. Very low in fat and hugely high in iron.

It's only expensive because of the amount of meat involved. When you take the water out of meat like you do in the jerking process, it loses alot of weight. If you buy a bag of jerky for $5.99 it probably used over a pound of meat for those few ounces of jerky, and beef costs quite a bit per pound even in bulk.

I marinate it for 24 hours in the fridge and then dry it in the oven. So good!
It usually is expensive, but I found out that they sell beef jerky at Walmart only $2 and something cents for a big pack that will usually cost like $6 at the grocery store.

It's some kind of weird brand "Jack's Links" but the spicy kind is pretty good.
And they sell Slim Jim's there too for cheap. EVERYTHING is cheap at Walmart, even their beef jerky.

Please produce baked chicken skins in several flavors so I can buy them instead of making them myself. I'll buy a whole lots of them if you make them taste really good and they don't cost a fortune and they must be totally carb free.

Living on a farm where the hunters wanted access had its perks! Had some other kinds but I don't remember what they were now. All of it was wild game.

Nobody can eat more of it than me, i'd be embarassed to actually say how much i've eaten on occassion. And i love it all, the super expensive gourmet kind right off the cow and the cheapo chopped and formed type. Sometimes i think I like the cheap stuff even better, it's got this consistency almost like Twizzlers.

Pemmican brand is my favorite - the cheap huge bag i get from Costco has some Ita.lian name on it, i love it.
