Why not add it on yourself?Originally posted by Baal
A Hummer only looks like a serious machine if it has a 50 cal. machine gun affixed to the back.
When that is an option, instead of heated leather seats or a surround sound system, I'll consider one.Comment

I love the H-1 wanted one for years however the H2 is a much nicer ride.
I would take mine off road for sure so the H1 is for me but the h2 would be far better if you plan on using it for normal stuff and when you need to get through the snow and stuffComment

kinda looks the same as the old H2 to me...

HummVees (original) are a blast.. I work for the Army and jump at the chance to tear around in them.
The H2 is definitly a different vehicle.. not a serious offroad machine but from what I've seen it does alright on rough trails (dirt and small rocks) and in the rain or snow.Xanadu024 (aim) or 286785389 (icq)

My cousin bought an H1 last summer for $60k from a dealer in Sioux Falls. Guess it had been there forever and they were glad to be rid of it.Originally posted by eatapeach
they're having a big sale in kansas city right now on H2s, starting at $4000 off list price.
on the H1s you can name your price. hummer dealers don't want them and apparently neither do customers.Comment

Hi...
what's a wigger?

Is it the lady in the background? Because I picture her being more of a Volkswagon Beetle type.

Supposedly the H2 is the Chevy Trailblazer frame/underbody with a different exterior body. So booker is right on with saying the H1 and H2 are very different vehicles. One is a true offroad/military vehicle... one is just all about the flash.
I know the general population does like these vehicles, and there are a slew of H2's floating around our local area here in PA. But when I see them driving down the road, I can't help but think this is true American consumerism-gluttony at its finest.
Like the housewives that need a full size Ford Excursion to make their grocery store runs. It's like jesus people... get a grip already. When these cars can't even fit in the lane they're supposed to dirve in, let alone a parking spot.. things have gotten way out of hand. Let's not even get into the outrageous fuel consumption of these things.
