Clarify this please - Norman from Matrix says they are a member of IMPA

I didn't think someone who settled with acacia (and ratted everyone out) could be a member of IMPA?

yet norman stated VERY CLEARLY and percisly on his interview that he IS a member (not just supporter) of IMPA.

could someone please explain this to me please????????
This dog, is dog, a dog, good dog, way dog, to dog, keep dog, an dog, idiot dog, busy dog, for dog, 20 dog, seconds dog!

Now read without the word dog.

Spelling errors? In our age of advanced databases, filters, export/import tools, do you really FUCKING THINK that anyone typed the fucking webmaster list out that Acacia got to play with?

How fucking ignorant can you be to believe that? Or how stupid do you think I am, trying to make me believe it?

Maybe the CIA gave him the wrong intel for the interview. I heard that happens from time to time right now.

yea know I thought I more than proved my case with them, that my name did come from their database... last I heard they would call me back... I proved the fact my name didn't come from a sponser database and it didn't come from a registar like they claimed .. I proved this to them yet I never got a call back..

when did they do another interview I must have missed it.

Yes, Matrix is a member of IMPA and as I said before Matrix was one of the first to the table to fight Acacia.

The IMPA is not just about Acacia.

Matrix is no longer part of the JOINT DEFENSE GROUP that is made up of companies actually being sued by Acacia.

By being part of the IMPA, Matrix can help protect the future, but they are out of the fight when it comes to Acacia.

The IMPA is limited to actions that serve the entire community and cannot help directly in the Acacia fight except to help in some prior art research and promote community awareness of all sides of the issues.

The IMPA will be able to be more proactive for defending against the future of Acacia-like carpetbagging companies that will come trying to sleaze money away. We don't want to leave our industry vulnerable to this type of predation ever again.

That's ridiculous. So instead of helping the joint defense team, they decide to help the other side by "losing" their webmaster database? If the IMPA is all about protecting the industry and "defending" against acacia-like companies, then why did Matrix, who is a part of the IMPA, even settle?

Wait.. I know the answer. It was a business decision.
