    Should Elliot Spitzer STFU already?

NY's Attorney General is exposing endless corruption in the investment and financial industries. Everyone in the know has known this shit goes on but looked the other way. But now the public is seeing that even the large well known and trusted Mutual Funds have been playing games.

Huge amounts of money are being withdrawn as a result and the actions by Spitzers investigations are going to cause investor confidenence to erod tremendously and I think are a threat to the stability of the financial markets.

    So STFU Elliot!

Spitzer is just another scumbag lawyer that will do whatever it
takes, no matter what happens to further his agenda.

Spitzer won't be the attorney general in perpetuity you know. One day not too far from now he will be back in private practice.

Personally I think he's laying the groundwork for the transition back to paying clientele.

Let me get this straight: your master plan to bolster consumer confidence would be to continue allowing shady business practices and to look the other way while giant corporations and fund managers continue to deliver the shafting to their "non-preferred" clients?

You may be a Republican. However, all is not lost.

Whatever temporary setbacks are suffered will be more than compensated for by cleaning up the filth. You wouldn't stop taking medication to cure your cancer because it gives you headaches, right?

I completely disagree. Knowing it happens and not doing anything about it doesn't make it OK. Institutional investors making money on the backs of individual investors is not acceptable. More of the rich feeding off the poor and just getting even richer.

Totally unacceptable. If anything, the financial sector must maintain its integrity. And to side against honesty is the wrong decision, in my opinion.

Never take stability over integrity because that stability will be short-lived once the truth comes out. And the truth will always come out when money is involved.
