i dont quite like the pic
the girls looks kindaof ugly
but shadows are good, but maybe needs a bit more light over the body.
And there's something wrong with her right foot too, the fingers look like their bleeding.... -

Lighting - Not too bad... but not great.. I think it may be a bit too harsh.. I would have done that on a overcast day.. or wait till 10 mins before sunset.
Shadows - They dont really do anything for me... but then again.. they should not have any effect as she is laying down.
Positioning - Although I don't really see many other positions that would work better, I don't like this one.. It makes her look very uncomfortable.. and it makes her breast look bad.. like two balls.
Overall - Nice idea, need to play around some more with it..

My first thought was "She feels uncomfortable", noone would lay down on those stairs, I personally prefer pictures that looks more natural.
The angle is a little strange, too, I'd take a photo like this from above the stairs if possible, or a little higher postition at least.
I'm no professional photographer, just two things that came to my mind instantly.Comment

That's the only thing good about it IMO
Lighting is horrible, color saturation awful....a bad attempt at a really great shot.
On photography forums you're always required to post a pic with an image critique, so out of habit, here's one ...

Translation: I don't really need an opinion at all. Even claiming I do is really kind of stupid, once you think about it. What I really need is for everyone to click on this thread and see my ARS sig so I can make .75 more cents and support my broke ass. the way the picture is taken, your eye goes from her hands down to her feet and falls off the page, no main point of view, nothing to keep the eye on the image...try shifting the camera and giving it a better angle to keep viewer on her...

basic thing bout photos: they should tell you something. this one doesnt. change the angle, the lighting is too harsh. the location is ok, because the contrast between her skin and the white stairs is amazing. but the two should be blended together. try shooting in a diffrent position. this pic would also look great in gray scale or black and white. ;-)

well, the pic is OK.
but if you are shooting a model against a white background you should spot meter the skin rather than let the camera auto expose.
otherwise the skin will be underexposed like this.
step 1: learn how the camera works.
step 2: then hire the model.
