Scoregroup lawsuit

did anyone had problems with Scoregroup from Score.com or Scoreland.com?
I am having because i had a few files of them in the members area - Most of the files were 2 3 mb!!
But the content is not mine... so i guess i learned my lesson.
I hope who is using stolen content, even if it is small files, that are not even in the preview area, stop doing it, because shit happens - i am sorry but i am a slow learner...

Anyway, now they are asking me $6,500,00 for compensation, or one month of signups - final offer...
It seems thsi guys have contacts inside my billing company, because they know a lot about me...

Any suggestions?

Personally I'd be happy they are letting you off so lightly. It would cost you well more than 6500 to defend yourself in court if you have to retain an attorney to keep them from taking everything else they can get their hands on.

I have posted this thread to alert any webmaster using score content - even if it is 1mb files (for the MGP guys...)... They will not give up.

I really doubt it's licensed, although the owners are a lot less likely than current content producers to enforce their copyrights. (Well, unless you're using 1970s Playboy Playmates or something). I think porn up to around 1920 or so can be used copyright free, although you can still theoretically get nailed for using someone else's scan of a pre-1920 image.
