Obscenity trial curbs the sale of videotapes

    http://www.shreveporttimes.com/html/...B38D207C.shtml

    this is fucked up

Birman was found guilty of selling obscene material to undercover state troopers June 9. At issue was whether two videotapes purchased by undercover officers - Hustler's Barely Legal Vol. 16 and Ladies' Club - violate community standards.

This is a nice, small, rural setting, not Sin City like New Orleans. If the community is not comfortable, they have the right to shut it down and push (it) to another area that does accept it.

"It's the community's right to say they don't want it (pornography) here," Stokley said. "I'm not saying the community will win, but it's their right."

Fuck them, fuck them in their stupid tight asses!
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

How about all the folks who don't like porn go and live together in one part of the country and all of us that love it live in another.

Hmmm... recent Supreme Court decisions reveal that the right to privacy supersides the right of a community to judge what is obscene... the Texas Sodomy case.

I find it so wrong when a victimless crime takes up the time of law enforcement while drugs, murders, and rapes go unsolved.

Hasn't the community already voted in the form of the free market? If the community didn't want to buy porn, it wouldn't sell so merchants wouldn't stock it.
