i've read a couple of books about producing infomercials and they always run the campaigns in test cities like buttfuck idaho and dingleberry mississippi before they ever take them national. they do this to test various pricing levels, bonus products and upsell products and services.

if you have seen it and don't live in some tiny little town in the midwest somewhere then it's already profitable.

maybe not $100,000,000 profitable like thighmaster, but it's making money.
