When I was in my prior career (law) 99% of our clients were Korean, and I had the opportunity to get to learn A LOT about the Korean culture.

There are relatively few Americanized Koren chicks that I ever ran into. First generation American tried their best to break away from papa-san, but if they had a strong family structure the Korean chicks lived very much up to the "stereotype."

This went so far as to

1. Never date outside of their race.
2. Even when dating within their race, it had to be approved by the family.

I went to many Koren nightclubs in Korea town (it was part of the job) and it was literally the girls on one side of the club, and the guys on the other side of the club. It reminded me a lot of the school dances when I was in the 6th grade.

However, when you got a rebel, look out.

To be totally honest she does look like a typical asian girl. There's tons of asians in CA where I live, and I have to admit I have tons of friends who look way better than her, way better face (better features, bigger eyes, mor exotic model caliber looking) and 10x better bodies (carmen electra type bodies w/tits and ass and natural too). But they aren't on tv or anything so no one knows who they are.

I don't like her eyes, they are really small. And trust me, I'm not prejudiced because I'm asian myself, and even my eyes aren't small like that. I think girls who look "mixed" are pretty like Tera Patrick. Her features are not very good. There's tons of asian girls with much more "model" like features.

The oly problem is that this board is made mainly out of men and they are not picky. I noticed that guys will think ANY girl is "hot" as long as she is not deformed, and my standards are high I guess, because I'm a female and I'm into my own looks a lot too (I have to admit), and a lot of my friends are very good looking and constantly get badgered to model etc. so I'm much more judgmental and I judge more objectively vs a man who just judges with his dick.

Sharon Sotto and a lot of the carshow model girls you see at purehotmodels.com (the best site on the net btw) have that common Amerasian look and personally I think it is nothing special.

The smaller eyes give a woman mystery and it seems to work for Jamie.

But I agree with you in that a lot of the models posted here are so bad you wouldn't look twice at them on the street.

That's odd, I know everyone has different taste, but personally I think the "small eyed" look is very unattractive, I like the "mixed" look, and that's the look I go for myself. Whenever me and my friends judge who we think is pretty it's always the "mixed" look.

People have their preferences, but the mixed is the "in" look now, and all my asian girlfriends look "mixed" or their beauty ideal is the mixed look. I look somewhat mixed but not NEARLY as mixed as I would like. My best friend is viet and she is SO mixed looking that she passes for hispanic, she looks like a mix between Shakira and Pam Anderson in the face and body. I wish I looked mixed like that, I look a little bit more asian.

It is weird how girls are mainly the ones wo are extremely critical of their own looks and others, while men appreciate all sorts of looks, even those that I don't really like.

Yea, I do know of that Purehotmodels site, personally I think Sharon is very pretty. My beauty ideals would also be Sasha Singleton, Tera Patrick, Kira Kener, and Lynn Thomas.

I admit I am obsessed about looking mixed... I think mixed girls like "hotter" and have more "sex appeal". People who look too asian look too innocent... My beauty ideal is those girls who aren't actually mixed but look really mixed...
