How to convert SE Traffic

Hey guys.

According to my sponsers stats it seems like i can't convert SE traffic ;)

Atm what i'm doing is getting the traffic into an enter page and the enter is to the sponser with my affiliate id.

Thing is that i'm having alot of sales but the convertion rates are Very bad, they are bad for a TGP traffic even, and those is pure SE Traffic, mostly from google.

I would like to hear suggestions from other that dealing with big amounts of SE Traffic.

What is the best, enter page, automatic forwarding, a gallery, host the tour, etc...

I tried alot of sponsers, some converting better than the others, but basicly, i think that i can get X2 or maybe even X3 better convertion rates if i change someting on the way that i'm sending that traffic to the sponser.

Yes it will it will send all your yahoo and google hits to a landingpage and from there you can route them to what they like

Using Search Engine traffic to send hits to you sponsor is worthless if you are getting hits for terms such as 'Free Porn', 'Free Sex' etc etc.

Especially if you are sending them to a paysite.

Target the keywords you are receiving the traffic from to a paysite or free access site and that should improve your ratios.

There's sooo many factors involved, its not simply getting listed, you need to filter it accurately. Use geo-redirects if needed, identify what the surfer is looking for based on the keyword and much more.

google traffic converts badly lately. the reason is that google traffic is international while the big paysites want to get us-surfers only. especially those programs paying you $40 per sale, want to aquire us-customers not only targeted to upsell porn to them. and since they only will be able to cover $40 with the us-customers they will not like foreign traffic unless it is rebilling (but fuck, who rebills longer than a month?).

to get proof, simply start 2 similar adword campaings 1 targeted to us traffic and one targeted to international traffic. you ll see the results.

That is a good test. If you do get free google traffic, make sure to geo-redirect it if your sending it to sponsors that don't pay you for foreign hits.

ALL traffic converts, its just traffic from the US converts better than the others usually but that also depends on many factors

Doing it this way I hella blind. SE traffic or not, this will inflate numbers. Try filtering it to get a real estimate of conversions. From the enter page go to a main page with lots of juicy text using header tags of various sizes and have like maybe 1 or 2 pics on html pages. Load it up with ads. make them interested.. blindlink the big pics to sponsor. On the main page be creative but make the focus on text ads and banners, make it sound like they are about to enter the best site with the best quality pics and/or movies. Don't use thumbs linking to the 1 or 2 free pics. Use default sized text.

Also, your goal here is to get them clicking ads not "enter" links on the warning page so keep that in mind for the warning page.

Read the referrer redirect to different sponsors based on keywords in the referrer.

Get GeoIP and filter appropriately. Some countries will perform better to dialers, some to paysites etc.

get statsremote.. that way you can try sponsors quickly and see $$$ earned easily.. Forget conversions look at your total $ for the day etc...and calculate money on uniques that went through your server (don't trust sponsor conversion #'s).

hrm also could probably filter by browser language for some stuff. I have some favourite japanese language programs.. that's not necessarily a winner in the SE case though because presumably their query was in english.

Have Asian Language Traffic?
