How much time do you spend with your "better half"

Lets say you're not married and you have no kids with the "other". How much time woud you say you should spend with the one you're dating/go out on a weekly/monthly basis?

Lets assume you love the person but the thrill of a new relationsip (honeymoon phase) is over and you're well into the relationship.

I see my girl 4 out of the 5 days of week mon-fri and we spend 10 mins together each day. We go out every Sat night together and I take the night off of work to spend with her. The rest of the time I work. If she doesn't like that she can find a new guy, I got empires to build.

Waaaaay too much. But not as much as some people. I'm very unproductive when she's here. Probably 24 hours a week maybe?

My husband and I spent every minute together even before we had kids together. From the minute we met. We still spend 24/7 together pretty much. Sometimes one or the other will go out without the other, but that's relatively rare. I think in all our years together, if I add up the days we've had to be apart, it would come to less than 3 weeks.

When you lived together how often would you go out? Also, didnt you find it hard to seperate the home/work life? (assuming that you worked out of the house)

We've been living & working together for almost 4 years now. Way too much time. I feel like we've been married for 20!

We do get along really well (obviously) but I think it's important to make time for other friends, interests that are separate from your spouse.

almost every moment of my life...we both work from home and he is disabled and other than doing this job my primary job in life is looking after him when he needs it (which isn't all the time but enough and getting more frequent). Our 7th aniv was last weekend

Yep, sounds like us. We've been married 4 years this week and we spend almost all our time together. Most of it is spent sitting here in the office plugging away on our respective computers but we are together none the less.

we've been together 5 years, and living together for 4. he works outside the house. we see each other 3 hours a day in the evening unless i go out to do something, and we're together on the weekends but for 3 or 4 hours when he goes mountain biking.
