What I'd like to know is if anyone heard her yelling, kicking and screaming? My personal opinion is that on a professional level, you do not go into the guest's room unless you are 1) room service (which normally the guest is not around) 2) room service (don't close the door - drop off the food, get a signature and outta there)

Actually, although I'm a woman - I think its sad but see it the same way. If you've been raped why should you be hiding? You haven't done anything wrong...and you shouldn't be ashamed.
Any man that will leave you or not date you because of it is just a loser anyway. If it's to protect your kids...silence and pretending nothing is happening is not doing your family any better - more so since people & media are scrambling to find you and blow it out of proportion.

Most victims of these types of crimes find it an extremely degrading experience, and just for that reason don't want the whole world to know.
It's most often not because of a man leaving them or dating them that they want to remain anonymous (most victims eventually tell their loved ones about such things happening), it's about complete strangers hearing about it.
Now, some people have no problem with everyone they meet knowing about what they themselves consider the most de-humanizing, degrading and gruesome experience they've ever had, but many do.
Not only that, if the victim isn't kept anonymous, there are a few things you can be sure of.
The first is that some people will not believe them, and consider them sluts and such. Ofcourse, those people are losers... losers who happen to be colleaques, customers, family, etc, in other words, losers who are rather hard to avoid. Many of these losers have no problem whatsoever confronting the victim with their dumb-ass opinions at completely random times.
The second is that some people will believe them, and try to support them. Now, support from close friends, relatives, etc. can be very helpful for some. However, "support" from a vague acquiantance in the grocery store most often does NOT help.
Now, exposing the victim ensures that their life will be changed forever, probably in a very negative way. Since it's a crime that has been committed *against* them, that hardly seems fair, now does it?
As for the comment about her being in the room with him with the door closed: it happens quite often to me that I'm in a room with a woman, with the door closed. Does that mean I have the right to rape them if they don't scream hard enough? Rape is a terrible crime, unfortunately we live in a day and age where the word is thrown around too easily. Alot of times now its buyers remorse, a couple of months ago there was a story in the news. This girl online is looking to fuck three guys at once ,she finds them on line, has sex with them. She tells a friend who tells her parents(she was 18) in a panick she says she was raped. The three guys are arrested and sitting in jail waiting trial luckily one of the guys hid a video camera to record the fun. On the video there she was saying what she was going to do to each guy and doing it. They were released immediately, if that guy didnt hide that camera they would all be in jail. I worked with this model who was 19 and told me she had been raped four different times by four different men on four different ocassions. Now you have a better chance of getting hit by lightining. I think the word is thrown around way too easy, to me rape is some poor lady in a alley attacked walking home from work. Rape is not a sexual act, alot of what we hear about are highly sexual acts. We had a couple cases lately where the suspects were famous men and in the end the men came out and said their names because the press was pressuring them.
