Dude, first off, I hear ya. It's hard to consider how people in the post 911 era don't react in situations like that. But if you'll notice, nobody else in the area did either . . . so they acted like everyone else - Perhaps due to shock. But as the devils advocate . . .

Cameramen are just that. They aren't trained in the ways of wrestling an armed man who has a gun and willing to use it. The police will even tell you to do nothing . . .

And second, they're there to catch the action. It's what their bosses tell them to do on a daily basis. It's in their nature. I'm not sure what you do, but it's like telling a webmaster to not pick up the domain sex.com if it were available. You'd do it because it's your business to do it . . . and from being in the news business, I can tell you that getting sex.com is as exciting as being in the thick of things - except you have copious amounts of adrenalin added to boot!

I have a hero complex as much as any guy, but I wouldn't kill anyone. And faced with someone with a gun who'd clearly willing to use it . . . I may be a little scared myself.

this shit is funny the more i look at it(not the fact that he was shooting at someone but how he reacted after). after he shoots at the gun he tries to walk away as if he hasnt done anything with 10+ reporters with cameras around him. fucking psycho.
