    webmasters in college - could I get your coments


    I'm working on a project for school and I just want to get some feed back from some fellow students....

    if you're not a freshman...try to remember back to when you were...

    would you buy a map/poster of the local college district that let's you know where the hot hangouts at night are?

    would you prefer it to be humorous...such as having "where's waldo", funny commentary about the greek system/getting laid, etc?

    how much might you be willing to spend?

    what was the last posters you bought?

    how much did you spend on them?

      I was in college 7 years ago and i doubt a lot has changed, most of the "hot spots" locations were spread by word of mouth, i don't think many would buy a map of them unless they were anti-social.

      My fav. poster from my college days was "Beer, helping ugly people get laid since 1882" Our frat house was decorated with mostly stolen beer banners.

          They have those at our school, If it really funny and depicts the area in a good but fiunny way and you can get merchants to advertise on the map ie local pubs, pizza, palces where the dorm people would go people would pay maybe a couple bucks. Your better off charging the businesses for ad space to put them on the map then distrubute the maps to the dorm people.


          I know Cal Poly San Luis Obispo does , Cal State Fullerton and a couple others
