Well, the colors are horrible. That's the main thing. The colors do not go together, nor are they appealing. The colors in a site need to compliment each other, not just be random colors.

The effects applied are very amateurish. There are too many bevels, too many standard loud gradients. Textures applied to various elements are much too pronounced.

The effects applied to the fonts are especially bad. The choice of fonts shows poor judgement. They are difficult to read and with the effects applied, such as standard gradients and too-thick strokes it makes them even more difficult to read.

Overall, the sites need better choices of fonts, especially for important sales text. Less gradients and more tasteful choices in the gradients that ARE used. More appealing colors that compliment each other. And less standard effects like bevels and drop shadows. Bevels and drop shadows have their place, but they need to be used sparingly and tastefully.
