It doesn't really matter if you stream or not. Any transmission of recorded video infringes their patent. I hope they don't start talkin about flash and .gif animations lol

Yep, flash animations are included too. .Gif won't be covered because it's not VOD.

No I don't have any money to report currently.
That put's me in a unique position.
That I am unsure yet whether or not I want to change.
Should I be making money to challenge Acacia?
or should I NOT BE ?

I can do "spin & gag" as well ..
You're much too modest! According to many people's reaction, you may well be the master, if not the primary driving force of "spin and gag" here.
Why, since meeting you, even I have seriously considered practicing "spin and gag" three, sometimes four or more times a day, only forgetting if you fail to show up in this room to blog in the chat.
You're truly inspirational that way. In fact, I feel as if I'm going to "spin and gag" any second now!
I'm just unsure what direction I will take..
Well, if you're looking for suggestions on where to go...

No, infringement of a process utility patent is decided on whether a set of actions "reads on" (definition given here: http://www.ipcreators.org/General/gloss.htm#readon) the claims. Since the only difference is sophistication of compression, a GIF could as easily be read on the claims of Acacia's patent(s) as a SWF file.
