You know what...
Since you've opened the door John, why don't you tell everybody how your first few emails were trying to convince me how I should give you servers in exchange for a revenue share after baiting me with an email about your urgent need for hosting.
Re-read the thread, you're the one that gave your information away, not me.
It makes me laugh, $85 per server! That's $1020 per year, a wholesale license on Windows 2003 costs $650.
"Discount" hosts have their place in the market, for as long as they are able to stay in business they save their customers money, no doubt. Although some like EV1 clearly have staying power, for most it's just a ticking time bomb until their doors close.
Not offering you hosting service at that price is not a reflection of whether or not I am able to, but rather one of discretion. I do wish you the best of luck with your new hosts, perhaps you can post the list of companies here that are willing to host at those rates for the benefit of everyone else.
Finally, the point of this thread was not to poke fun at you but rather to see if any other providers wanted to pony up an offer for you. If you can't see that then you're obviously too pissed to be thinking rationally.
Cheers,
Brad
