In my opinion anyone who settled, without absolutely having to, needs to be shown the mistake they made after we win this.

They never thought for one minute that we would not buy/sell from/to them or send them tradffic, they expected us to all to be completely spineless.

I had a company contact us recently and try to buy custom, told them that as they had signed they could go to hell before I would support them.

What defines clear? I have seen enough reputable webmasters tracking matrix as the source. This alone is enough for me. Probably it's enough for others as well. I'm not a matrix client and I do not expect anything from them. I'm confident though that their clients do expect actions that will bring results. Matrix according to me would turn out 100% clear in case acacia hasn't used their db (regarding how they got it) and I can't see how this can happen. The least they can do is to prosecute whoever is responsible. I said that on first place.

It is supposed that an investigation is taking place. Nothing else on this.

Matrix came on boards seeking proofs that Acacia used their db. The ones that had someting to say, they did it.I havent read all the threads and posts, but unless I missed something major going on I don't see why matrix would take legal actions against someone. I would friendly advise them to check their priorities on this.

Anyway,that's my last post regarding the whole issue. We should do some bets on soccer, more interesting stuff

The burden of proof rest on Matrix. Im not sure either way. Rich throws a ton of shit out there, but Im leaning towards his story. It does add up in my opinon.

I can't pretend to be anything but sceptical about the "hundreds of", "countless" webmasters all suddenly claiming to have provided Matrix with unique details. Okay so in reality it has been more like a dozen, but even so...

Still I did take the first couple of posts at face value and since I have been in the Matrix database for a couple of years (with my correct details) and bought content from them, I expected my present from Acacia to arrive in the next mail.

It didn't. It still hasn't.

If anyone is actually interested in who (if anyone) was the source of personal information for Acacia, he/she might ask whether it makes sense that Acacia or whoever would filter such a database. And if they did, why leave me out? I'm just a regular US webmaster, indistinguishable from any other US webmaster on a computer print out. I guess I must just be lucky.

Not perhaps the kind of question a lynch mob wants to answer and it has been ignored on two other threads already. But someone might want to think about it...
