    I can't keep up on GFY anymore

    Is there anyway gfy can have a business section and a bullshit section. Politics section, religious section.

    Hell I would be happy with a business section and a bullshit section

    I look at it now and my eyes are tweaking

    I think its time gfy has more categories otherwise a lot of important shit is going to get skipped over.

    I look at GFY everyday and I can?t keep up anymore

    Or am I the only one who feels this way.

              there is way to much bullshit now at least have a seperate section for business topics and a bullshit section for those who like to gossip etc.

              but personally I feel like I'm missing alot of important posts because I don't have time to filter thru it anymore its just to much now. at least for me it is

                                  the reason i come here all the time is to keep up with whats going on in the industry, gossip etc. grape vine but lately its just to hard to keep up with all the day to day bullshit posts

                                                      I said it once and I will say it again. A paid business section $10 a month, just enough to keep out the curious. This is becoming a big yahoo group with nudie pics not at all what it was like when I first got on it .

                                                                      I think if there were a business section where sponsors posted updates or webmasters posted gossip about business it would be very popular.

                                                                      it just needs to be inforced by gfy. I don't think it would hurt GFY just make it more apealing to the webmasters who are trying to make money and keep an eye on the industry.

                                                                      Plus I bet there would be less sig whoring going on

                                                                      I'm tired of trimming the fat I just want to get to the meat of things. LOL

                                                                                              I totally agree I don't think GFY wants to push there business webmasters/Sponsors away. but I see it happening JBM is becoming the business section I would rather just go to one place and sponsor one place instead of a million boards.

                                                                                                          Face it, many boards have tried "Business sections", "Tech discussions", "Graphics Forums".
                                                                                                          They just don't work.
                                                                                                          The reason why they do not work is for the simple reason that "The Piss Must Flow". It is inevitable and in eventuality it turns into a spam fest anyways, at first it's a guised effort and it widdles down from there.

                                                                                                          Besides who is going to seriously start pushing Traffic for sale or design for sale or what have you without it becomming "Spam" in the eyes of competitors...

                                                                                                          Its a collision no matter how you fuck it.

The reality though is that the posts go where the people are. In the last few days I've seen people posting biz (and newbie crap as well though) questions in the Q&A area, not get any responses (because few people are reading it) and then reposting it over in the fucking around area.

                                                                                                                                                  The Q&A area could be used for biz but no one does. Maybe if all the biz oriented stuff migrated over there it would justify a different forum.

GFY has always had bullshit, it's part of the...charm. However there's now almost all bullshit and little business. Any even remotely useful thread vanishes within 15 mins so a waste of time these days.
