    strange IE bullshit

    I just re installed XP and just about everything else after I got some nasty viruses and lost about everything, now when I am on the web, words will be highlighted in text like

    yeah I was playing the game and she had a sweet ass ...

    also, every page I go to loads twice. When I was on the GFY thread listing, every cell and icon loaded, then loaded again.

    Any clue what would do this?

    I've scoured the web and haven't been able to find anything at all.

    On a related note if I owe you something e-mail me, I don't have any contacts in outlook anymore, and I'm a good week or so behind on everything.

              you have a spyware doing that for you

              start
              run
              regedit

              now hit your task manager and look for fucked up outta the normall shit running, copy those down and do a google search, youll find the 1 you are looking for

              then hit the top of your registry and hit control f this will let u search your registry for this, while this is going on, go to your search and search your computer for that exe

              once you have found it in both places, go back to task manager and kill the app, then remove it from both places

              spybot search and destroy and adware 6 might help

                          I think Turbo was suggesting that you get AdAware, from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/, not that you have adware installed (though that's also probably true).

                              Adaware picked up nothing. Same problem... really getting on my nerves.

                                              adaware and spybot search and destroy ... spybotSD will find a lot of stuff that adaware doesnt find, they go nice together
