I heard the story behind this vid on a forum I frequent.
The car is pushing moderate hp, about 300 at the wheels. The guy is trying a launch when he clearly isn't experienced enough to be doing so. The weight transfer in the car under acceleration scared him, so he let off and hit the brakes, causing even more unwanted weight transfer...
Its really not difficult to make the same mistake, I saw some stupid kid outside highschool a while back, driving his parents BMW, he launched and didn't even move the wheel, when he should have been countering the torque steer... Went up onto the sidewalk and started bitching about the brakes not working... riiiggght, everyone knows how notoriously awful those brakes are on brand new BMW's

Oh and one more thing.. that car isnt really a ricer. A ricer has a bodykit, a big wing, shitty looking and improperly applied vynal graphics and maybe some chrome 20's.

What happened in that video is the guy's turbocharger didn't spool and start making power until 20-30 feet after launch. MR2s are notorious for having high-launch points, and being inexperienced (young dumb and full of cum), he was not aware of this. The tyres started to spin and he couldn't control the oversteer, off to the left he goes.
It is worth mentioning that the MR2 is midengine with a short wheelbase and low polar moment of inertia (meaning there is little sprung weight forward of the front axle and rear of the rear axle).
