How very true... kids maybe small, they may be young but they know and they suffer for years and years...
I left that and went into a relationship with a guy just like it, but now he has gone and I have Steve who is very much my support mechanism for down days....
I remember going to my brother's 21st and something happened, which I won't say here, but the result was him trying to strangle my mother in front of many people. He did what my father would do to my mother all those years ago.
After many people tried to calm him down, he fell asleep in my arms like he had when he was only a small kid...
Kids know....
