I had first hand experience with fire as a kid. My bro was playing with matches in the woods behind our house. Started some leaves on fire and it started to get out of control. I ran down the hill and started stamping it out, not realizing he had started it with gasoline. I slipped on the leaves and next thing I know my jeans had the gas on them and my leg was in flames. I tried to roll to put out the flames but they wouln't extinguish with the gas on there. Had to yank them off quick as lightning. Lucking the jeans were thick enough I just got off with mostly singe burns.

Fletch I can't tell the size/distance proportions on that, but it looks like they're still a good ways away from you. If the direction of the smoke can be any indicator it doesn't look like they'll head your way at all. Of course that's probably real high smoke and not indicative of which way the actual fires are being pushed.Comment
