At first I wasn't going to bother wasting my time replying to this thread, but I've decided to solidify my standing on Amps list.
There are only two reasons Amp has a problem with me:
1. I directly attacked him in a "dead beat dad" thread. He doesn't want to get into that whole mess again, and neither do I.
2. I started the "creation vs evolution" thread, and took the side that I knew would be "unpopular" on THIS message board (creation). Then I started talking about how the creators could be aliens. And I made myself sound half serious about what I posted.
All the while I was smirking that the thread was going several pages long and getting a lot of emotion from the posters.
What Amp didn't know is that I don't really have an opinion for or against the topic and just wanted to create discussion. I'd been thinking of a debate class I took in High School and how I'd had to argue on a topic that I didn't agree with.
I wanted to see if I could argue the "creation" side of this particular debate. It was fun.
And as a bonus, 7 new affiliates joined my program from that thread. And a few of them have already sent a handful of joins.
I'll be an "idiot" like that any time.

But in all seriousness I'd like to go on record as saying I was way too harsh in #1. As I've mentioned before, I'm very sensitive about how kids are treated by their fathers in divorce situations. It makes me angry just thinking about it. I was way too harsh, especially not knowing your entire situation. I don't kiss anyone's ass, but I do owe you an apology for that. If I haven't done so before, let do so now: I apologize.
