I would too I expect that over time I will visit many
different countries, some good, some bad, but all should
be very memorable experiences!

Tough thing is deciding where to visit first.

Hi shawn.. I went to jamaica last November to (Negril) and I wouldn't go back.... Its nice but u can't really leave your place or your hotel without hiring a "local" to stand by your side, just to protect you .. I never knew there were so many "hookers" there as well... and of course lots of drug pushing. It was an experience thats for sure.. My favorite place is Mexico....Cancun and right outside cancun.. a lil island called "island of woman"

Hawaii has lots of strip clubs and it's cheap and apealing to fly models there for shoots - nuff said

if you visit belize,make sure you check out the mayan ruins...and also visit corozal and belompan..2 of the most beautiful cities in the country

thought with that comment about hiring a "local".

How do you know you can trust that local to protect your stuff
against other locals? I assume you trust because you believe
they are not all bad people.

What I would really like to know, if once you get past the touristy
areas... the places that have the highest concentration of
societies maggots... are they good people who will treat you right
if you treat them right, as a general rule? Or would the general
rule be that they are all out to screw us white folk? I find the
latter harder to believe after my experiences with a handful of
Jamaicans up here. They were such warm and good hearted
people!

We have our own concentrations of maggots in our society...
if people were to judge us based only on those people, it would
be a shame for them to not get to know more of us, since many
of us are truly good people.

So it makes me question Jamaica still.

It may not be the first place I go, but I sure do want to
visit that land one day and experience life there too, at least
for a brief time

I have not ruled off the possibility of Cancun.

Cheap??? Ok, I am going to investigate some.
I have always been under the impression it was expensive
to fly there, live there, eat there, party there, etc.

It seems a really small country, so it shouldn't be hard
to visit a lot of the area if staying a few months eh?

22,966 sq km with 386 km of coastline.
Meaning the country on average is only around 60 km deep.
There seems to be plenty to experience in that small area though.

You can go out with the people that work at your resort, thats what a lot of people did at the time when I was down there. They have trips planned thru the day and the locals go to clubs at night and bring along guests of the resorts they work at.

Anyways it was a nice place, and I wasn't worried about safety during my stay.

I've been to Negril, Jamaica...I shot a few girls while I was down there. I didn't stay in the resorts though...I stayed in West End Negril which is right up the road...(Negril consists of mainly one road)...It was called the Blue Castle or something like that...Nice small room right on the ocean for around 50 a night with your own private little balcony..It's owned by a Swedish woman...

You can rent a house near the beach for around 200-300 a month...The people are friendly although somewhat pushy AT FIRST...Once they get used to seeing your face for awhile, they back off....

I like drugs so them pushing it on me didn't bother me...When I got off of the plane in Montego Bay, the airport van driver sold me a nice BIG sack of moist strong ganja for 20...

Hook up with an honest local girl and you might be able to see some sights...You'll be invited to reggae concerts up in the hills that lasts until 5 am...I went to a town in the hills where NO white face was seen for miles in the middle of the night...The nightclub had reggae and strippers inside and they were playing Rap on the outside deck...

You can go and live cheaply...Just know that if you're white you won't get the same treatment...You will ALWAYS be looked on as the "white boy"....There's things that they will let you do and wouldn't let me do because they didn't want the black man to get in trouble...For instance, I was at a bar in Negril openly smoking a joint...There was a white man right next to me doing the same thing...The Jamaican dude pulled me aside and said don't do that shit there and he showed me a place in the back where I could smoke...He said he wouldn't bother telling the white man that he could get in trouble if a policeman happened to show up (And they do)....

They'll smile in your face and all of that but they secretly despise whites...And y'all that stayed at Hedonism and Breezes and hung out at Margarita Joes may THINK that they are your friends but they just work there...I hung out with them when they were off work and were away from the resorts...Most of the people there don't live in Negril...They stay in the hills and I doubt that you'll be invited up there...

All in all, it's a good place...And I wouldn't be put off to go there if I was white...Just be aware that as a white man, you will be charged the HIGHEST prices for everything....I"ve met whites who live there who love it....

It is sad to hear that you believe they despise white people.
Sounds like it may be a better place to go visit for a couple weeks,
rather than to go live there for a few months.
