in my opinion, thats what the companies who settled should put in big, bold, red letters right on their signup page.
since acacia has decided to "double dip" and say "hey, you promote this sponsor, you owe us money" - explain to me why they wouldn't just take affiliate lists and mail down everyone on them with packets.
so to those companies that settled - congrats, you just cost the people who send you traffic and make you money 2% of the gross, legal fees, whatever it be, so you can get off easy.
so I ask as a small favor to all webmasters, put that disclaimer on your signup page, in BIG RED FUCKING LETTERS.
