Took it from my balcony.. I live on Beach Ave... just a couple blocks from English Bay. That statue is right along the beach.
Elli, no filters... just really zoomed in. There was a break in the clouds where everything above was a nice blue... but below was a firey red like that... so I just keep the camera below that breaking point and the pic turns out like that
