I bought a domain name (pretty decent one, kinda wondered why it was not already registered) and after I built a little free site on it with the hopes of getting some SE traffic, I found out it was banned from Google.
I emailed Google to let them know the domain was banned due to the practices of the previous owner, but it still is showing page rank 0.
Just a lesson for anyone buying domains, check it in archive.org first to make sure it wasn't used for SE spam, or the domain will be useless to you.
