    I Can't Format C: LOL

Trying to whip the drive clean...

The Win2k CD wont delete everything..

    & Format C: gives me..

    C:\>format c:
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Enter current volume label for drive C: DRIVE_C

WARNING, ALL DATA ON NON-REMOVABLE DISK
    DRIVE C: WILL BE LOST!
    Proceed with Format (Y/N)? y
    Verifying 38162M

Format cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Format may run if this volume is dismounted first.
ALL OPENED HANDLES TO THIS VOLUME WOULD THEN BE INVALID.
Would you like to force a dismount on this volume? (Y/N) y
Cannot lock the drive. The volume is still in use.

    C:\>

so.. how do i kill this bitch?
    I stay busy.

you need to run from the 4 windows startup disks and reformat that way.

actually he had a few problems as to why it wouldn't work but he's all set now.
