Okay ...
I have decided to engage Acacia in a negotiation of the "alleged" patent claims ...
all correspondence and/or links to relevent info will be posted in this thread.
The first step is - I suppose - to send them an email informing them I wish to negotiate a contract and that I intend to make this contract negotiation public.
If anyone wants to add something to that "standard contract" email - just let me know.
Otherwise it will just be basically - one sentence.
Send me your standard contract.

THE OFFICIAL FIRST CONTACT
Unlike most posts, I reserve the right to edit this one for at least two weeks. If you don't know how I post - I very rarely edit a post. This one though - is an exception until I post otherwise.
ROUGH DRAFT OF INITIAL EMAIL

Dear Acacia,
I am considering the use of the transmission of motion pictures in real time or less then real time (commonly known as compression) and would like to know the specifics of your recent legal claims - before I begin the re-transmission of video from NASA?

Thank you for your link to their "standard" Adult Contract.
I have not decided yet - whether my initial contact will still not include the request for Acacia to send me a physical copy or not.
However, this "standard contract" you link to ...
and which I am studying on behalf of my 20,000 members ...
does not seem to be the one I am looking for ...
notice the yellow highlighting ...

I can undestand the reluctance of a bus driver to remove a passenger for simply talking a bit crazy, acting a bit weird or, even, if he smells bad and nobody wants to sit with him.
But, when it gets to the point that others are yelling at him to shut up, smacking him around and puking in the aisles...
I begin to wonder if the bus driver is paying attention to his duties.
I think I will redefine SexEducation.TV as a live cam website with no membership, no revenue and it will be the worlds first sexual live cam blogging website ...
no advertising - nothing ...
just a place of free live cam discussion ...
oh - and Webmasters would not be allowed ...
because it would be against the rules ...

It's my bus.
You can get off at the next stop if you wish.
