Of course. Check most Maximum Cash, TCG2, TopBucks, Silvercash, PornDollars and so on, most of their sites are built with non exclusive content. In fact I know quite a bunch of sites built around plugins, which seems stupid, but if you think about it they always look updated.
We mix both, but 50-60% of our content is non exclusive, 20% must be plugins and the remaining content is exclusive but we go for good yet cheap. Since we don't care if a model getting a cumshot in her eye can play Shakespeare, we just get most of our content from South America. It's great for branding and when surfers see some exclusive stuff they tend to think most of it is exclusive.
