New to GFY, what do you guys think?

3 months is a very long time!

i hope there is some nifty stuff that i can't see / you haven't paid him for 3 months of work!

heh, nothing spesial there.. did he do the desing or the php coding ?

go to WTH and aske for programmers / desingers..

maybe some one will help you cheap

Hey guys, thanks for your response. I agree, three months is a long time. No hidden features, what you see is it! The Membership database is supposed to allow me to send out e-mails for news & events. We agreed on a set price, and this is what I?ve gotten up to now. I still owe him a balance for his work once he?s finished. He did the Design, and we re-arranged (added-deleted) things as we went along. He did all of the Coding.

Now I?d like to replace the Content with Soft and Hard stuff, more of our Videos, and more features that will bring in traffic and revenue.

I?m sorry, what is WTH?

It looks more like a content store than a membership web site.

I would think it needs work... have you thought about just selling content?

3 months, with a dedicated designer from http://xxxoutsourcing.com and you could have had a portfolio of sites. Probabl cheaper too.

That took 3 months? The only graphic I see is the dotted line for the film border... The rest is all tables.

That's more of a 3 hour project ;)

I agree with every one else...it looks like you got a bum deal...hopefully you didn't pay too much. Oh, and the reason I am replying to his thread, since I don't have anything of interest to add to this topic, is to say that I really liked "King of New York". Christoper Walken played to principal character right in the pocket.
