Doesn't help you make friends if you're a girl...............for girls it means other girls judge you by just how you look ..like saying oh, she thinks she's all that, what a bitch or whatever and they won't even try to get to know you. They assume you think you are better than them or whatever ....so silly
I always make better "girl" friends if I meet them when I'm in my sweats with no makeup and a ponytail
