    Lately I'm just reading thread starters names not the titles

    Lately I often find myself just cheking the thread starters nicknames instead of the threads titles, before deciding to read them.

      if its a funny poster i read the thread, but if its a political poster i usually just skip it

                  I generally do the same only I go into the thread and then scan for nicks.

                      I've noticed myself doing the same thing lately. I do it at other boards as well...but I usually treated GFY a little different. Now, I primarily pay attention to those threads started by people with close to 10,000 posts or more, or a handful of other nick's that I recognize as friends or useful posters.

                      If those all suck, or I've already read or replied to them, I then go back and see if any threads stand out as interesting. Without the search feature, looking at thread starters helps weed out some of the stuff not of interest to me.
