    anybody know how to get a tape out of a busted vcr?

    it still turns on, but no matter hwat I press it turns itself off after about 6 seconds

    any ideas? its a junk vcr but the tape is pretty important

        You know the screws underneath that say do not remove? Guess what you're going to be doing...just remember to unplug it first (and don't touch any capacitors unless you want a jolt, hint: they look like mini beer cans)

                    if you want to salvage the tape... get a screwdriver aand start unscrewing shit til you get your tape back.


                    if you can't put it back together afterwards..
                    vcr's are like $20 nowadays... buy a new one.
