    Acaca - gross or gross?

Reading back on Charlie's thread about Acaca going after colleges, their only asking for 2% of the income for that particular course. Not the gross income of the whole college.

So why are webmasters not subject to the same terms? From the statement in D$ interview we have to pay 2% of gross, no matter if we only make 5% of out income from video.

    Is this fair? Legal?

Is anything they are doing fair or legal?

Nobody will know til the court decides, and/or til someone decides to sue, or file charges on other grounds.

As it stands, they can send you whatever proposal they wish.. that doesn't mean you have to do it.. Even if you decide to play their game, the 'package' is just a proposal.. not a contract.. You can rewrite it and send back your proposal and see if they go for it.. Kinda like a tennis match..

if I get one, im going to send it back with a message like..

"ill give you my answer right now, my offer is NOTHING, and Id appreciate it if you paid the licensee fees for me"
Ever notice that pretty much everything added to the Constitution after the original was a mistake.
