Some people dont' understand the effects of illegals in this country. When they cross the border and work dirt cheap it has an effect on all of us. Why would an employer hire you at a decent wage when he can get a mexican who is happy to work for next to nothing? It used to be a non-issue. With the market today every business is trying to get a leg up on the competition. Bottom line is the illegals dilute our economy. It's a bad situation here in Cali. At one factory I was at in LA, the girls were being paid 10 cents for each dress they sewed. 10 fucking cents! And they were happy working for that amount.

The private sector needs to create a business which would streamline LEGAL immigrations. If we asked the government to do it, it would take 5 years for them to requisition a study and then another 5 years to implement it.
Getting these workers LEGAL is what needs to be done and GET RID of the illegal workers who aren't working yet are living off the tax payers. Or if they want to stay here and work and get $$$ as illegals, they do NOT get any government hand outs.
As someone mentioned earlier, if an American managed to get into another country illegally, you can bet we'd not get treated the same as we treat illegals. Illegals are criminals - that's what "illegal" means, though some people just can't seem to figure that out.....
Yeah, I know it's not going to happen - I'm just dreaming out loud.
